June 7th Human First-Aid and CPR (Woods Humane Society, 875 Oklahoma Ave. San Luis Obispo): For this meeting we will be starting at 9:15 AM. We welcome Lydia Lawson a certified First-aid instructor who will be teaching us how to treat injuries in the field and how to perform CPR, which by the end of the class we will be certified in both for 2 years. This is an important class for everyone, but especially first responders and members in sheltering. This is the ONLY class for which there is a charge ($ 40.00). This is to offset the cost of materials and the instructor’s time. There will be some pre class prep time with an online course to qualify for the in person class.
