This year we will do a blended course that is part online and part in-person. You can begin the online part at your leisure as long as it is complete prior to attending the In-person session for the hands on skills part. The same online session is used for first-time students and for review students. It gives you a chance to take a quiz at the start of each section so you can jump forward in the training if you are a reviewer and it will take less time. Expect to spend 2 to 3 hours online if this is your first time. First Aid education is a lot of information but very useful. At least 1 to 1.5 hours if you are a reviewer. Use a desktop or laptop computer instead of a phone. It will save your progress throughout the course so you do not have to do it in one sitting but I have heard that it can be unreliable on a phone.
To sign up for the Online session go to:
That link should take you right to the sign up page for the course you want but if for some reason that does not connect from your device you can go to: www.redcross.org > Training and certification > Individuals > Online Only > Adult First Aid, CPR and AED online
You will pay $37 when you register. This cannot be refunded so make sure you are going to be able to come to the in-person part as well because the online part does not result in a certification unless you also do the hands on in-person skills session.

Once you have completed the online part, print or take a photo of your completion certificate to bring to me on the day of the in-person session. You will be required to pay an additional $12 at the time of the in-person class and this will cover the fee Red Cross charges for processing and recording your certificate.

If you have any questions I can be reached at the number below. I look forward to meeting all of you.
