DESCRIPTION:Our March training session will be held at Woods Humane Society in San Luis Obispo. \nWhat: SLO County Emergency Plan\, 1st Responder and Radio Tabletop Training\nWhen: March 7\, 2020\nTime: 8:45 – 12:00 PM\nWhere: Woods Humane Society\n875 Oklahoma Ave (map)\nSan Luis Obispo\, CA 93405\nRequired: for most volunteers \nWoods allows us to use their facility free of charge. They only ask that we please bring donations for the animals that are rescued. Please don’t bring just anything–they have specific requirements and needs. Please see their website for actual needs:  https://www.woodshumanesociety.org/donate/wish-list.php \nThis training will give you some insight to the County Plan\, what 1st responders are expected to do\, and some hands on training with HAM radios. \nBE SURE TO BRING YOUR HAM RADIOS TO THIS TRAINING TO FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR PROCEDURES AND THE CHANNELS THAT WE USE. Radio check in will be on the W6SLO Tassajara Peak Repeater on 146.670MHz (127.3+)
